I am often asked to create commissioned pieces for art lovers who want a specially-designed work of mine for a gift or perhaps to commemorate a particular occasion or memorialize a beloved pet. These become very important projects for me because they are opportunities to get me involved in on-going meaningful interchanges with potential art buyers. Some have even blossomed into cherished, close, lifelong friendships.
A few examples of the pieces resulting from such commissions are shown here. They represent works designed in conjunction with the buyer who may have contributed singularly insightful ideas about design features, construction and coloration. Where a pet is the subject of interest, I have used photographs to produce a sculptured life-like portrait.
Inquiries about such commissions are always welcome. Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the project. A deposit for half the cost is expected. Please click the Contact button below to initiate a discussion with me about a possible commission.
